About Belle

Adoption Day

We met Belle in July of 2017 at the Lawrence Humane Society. She was just a puppy — a bundle of energy, wiggles, and kisses. The moment we met her, we knew she was coming home with us.

Belle's Family

Belle lives with her humans, two mini humans, and a cat named Figaro. She spends her days napping, playing with toys, being photogenic, and going on walks. Belle and her family reside in San Antonio, Texas. 

Belle's Eyes

As Belle grew, we noticed her eyes look a little different. Her vet believes she was likely stuck in the birth canal, so the muscles around her eyes grew farther back on her head and stayed underdeveloped. Her vision isn't affected — she just has her own one-of-a-kind look.

The Social Media Journey

It all started by accident, when Belle's mom tried to sell a mirror on Facebook Marketplace. Belle kept photo-bombing every picture, so her mom posted them anyway — and Belle quickly became a favorite online. The mirror never did sell. These days, Belle uses it for her YouTube series, "Dog in the Mirror."
